Our Tiny Tiger Program introduces students to the martial art of Choi Kwang Do in a program that is specifically designed for preschool aged children through
an educational process that offers much more than just learning how to punch and kick. This class is taught during the school year at Eagle Pointe Preschool in Acworth.
Mrs. Chris Jackson teaches this program in a warm and nurturing environment while instilling the Pil Seung Spirit (“To always do my best and never give up”) through all activities. Classes will include activities to learn Choi Kwang Do techniques as well as balance and coordination skills, character traits, personal growth skills, and self-defense skills.
Students will also be learning some Korean terminology as Choi Kwang Do is a Korean Martial Art. We never compare students to each other and only expect each student to do their very own personal best. Tiny Tiger Students typically have the opportunity to progress in belts through the school year.
Some additional benefits of Choi Kwang Do for students are
- Increased self-discipline
- Increased obedience
- Increased attention span
- Increased performance in school
- Increased leadership skills
- Increased physical fitness
We teach with a positive attitude using positive reinforcement which has been proven to be the best way to learn. Our students learn to treat each other with kindness and respect and to work together.
Children often find our classes so empowering and fun, they can’t wait to come each day!
